EFiX Mac clone aborted amid legal concerns

Yet another would be Mac cloner has shelved plans to bring a product to market amid claims the whole thing was a misunderstanding. EFiX USA planned a family of high-performance PCs that could be used to run Mac OS X with the aid of an optional extra, but later reversed its decision in a highly public turnaround.

Psystar alleges copyright misuse by Apple

Mac cloner Psystar has squeezed ahead of a court-imposed deadline to amend its counterclaims against Apple after having its original countersuit tossed out of court. Apple's original suit against Psystar alleged copyright, trademark and trade dress infringement; trademark dilution; breach of contract; and unfair competition.

Apple kicks Psystar butt in first round of fight

Apple has won its bid to have Psystar's antitrust counter-suit dismissed. The question now remains whether Apple's legal suit against Psystar will succeed.
