IEAA changes name and focus to iGEA

The Interactive Entertainment Association of Australia (IEAA), the video-games publishing association has changed its name slightly to become the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (iGEA).  According to the association, the revamped group believes the electronic entertainment goal posts have moved.

The Interactive Entertainment Association of Australia (IEAA) has leapt onto new figures which pump up the video game industry in Australia.  Family games and Action games are luring people away from DVD’s and movies as Australians spend almost AU$2 billion on interactive entertainment.
