Online job advertisements on the site SEEK fell by 7.4% in February year-on-year, the company's latest figures show, but three sectors bucked the trend and showed increases.
Online job advertisements published on SEEK fell by 8.4% year-on-year in November, the company says, adding that community services and development was the sector with the highest ad growth, showing an increase of 14.6% year-on-year.
The ICT industry was the second strongest contributor to job ad growth across Australia in 2018, with job ads up 12% last year compared to 2017, according to the latest employment report from online jobs board SEEK which also showed that across all industries the average advertised salary was up by 3.9% in 2018.
