The number of jobs advertised across Australia in the 12-months to the end of October declined by 7.8%, but in better news for employees salaries grew across every state and territory, apart from the Northern Territory.
The number of job advertisements declined markedly in Australia in April, with the Information and Technology sector hit by a 6.4% drop in jobs advertised nationally, according to a new report from Australia's largest jobs board.
ICT was one of the business and industry sectors offering the most job opportunities in September, as Australia’s employment market continues to trend upwards with job advertising on SEEK growing by 12% over the month.
