MacRumors is suggesting the new NVIDIA powered MacBook and MacBook Pro models have received hardware decoding of H.264 video, not available on the previous versions even though their respective cards had hardware decoding capabilities, but Apple isn’t confirming.

ATI unleashes the HD Radeon 4530 and 4550

When AMD and ATI launched the new Radeon range, nVidia and integrated Intel graphics were simply blown away and relegated to the last generation. Earlier last month, ATI launched the the HD 4670 and 4650 cards, now come two more at “value prices” while still delivering top performance.

AMD show up Nvidia with twin GPU card

AMD has ignited the video card wars again unveiling the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, a small form factor card with the power of two GPU’s.  AMD have also teamed up with World Of Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo developer Blizzard.
