Fujitsu introduces first consumer color e-reader

Consumers in Japan are now able to purchase what Fujitsu calls "the world’s first color e-paper mobile terminal" -- the FLEPia, a handheld e-book reader similar to Amazon's Kindle (but in color).

Tadiran Telecom opens Australian office

IP telephony systems manufacturer, Tadiran Telecom, has named Mike Montgomery, a 20 year veteran of Australia's Telecom industry, country manager for Australia following a strategic decision to expand its presence in Australia with new partners and solutions, including the Australian launch of its Coral Sea softswitch.

Telstra takes a hit of $130 million with its announcement that it is offloading its IT services arm, Kaz, to Fujitsu for $200 million. The announcement comes after nearly five years of Telstra trying to justify its decision to purchase what was then the biggest local IT services player.
