Ericsson is planning to build its first fully-automated smart factory in the US to produce advanced antenna system radios for rapid 5G deployments.
Chinese telecommunications equipment giant Huawei Technologies' 5G Radio Access Network has come out ahead of four other global telcos — Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and ZTE — in the first competitive analysis of the telecommunications industry by analytics firm GlobalData.
