Ericsson has been selected by communications service provider KDDI as the primary 5G vendor for next-generation network deployment in Japan.
Swedish multinational networking and telecommunications company Ericsson has been selected by Danish service provider TDC to roll out nationwide commercial 5G, as part of a major network overhaul, and to provide managed services through the Ericsson operations engine.
Ericsson is expanding its end-to-end 5G platform by adding new hardware and software products to the Ericsson Radio System portfolio, which it says further enhances the agility and speed with which communication service providers can roll out their 5G networks.
