Creditors, shareholders, suppliers and customers of electronics retailer Dick Smith have been left in limbo as they wait to see what is to happen to the company’s hundreds of stores throughout Australia and New Zealand after the business was placed in voluntary administration.
The Dick Smith electronics retail group has seen solid growth in its online business over the past 12 months, with online sales now comprising 8% of total retail sales across the Australian business.
