Worldwide shipments of PCs grew just 0.1% in the third quarter of 2018 compared to the corresponding quarter last year, to hit the 67.2 million unit mark, according to a new report from global analyst firm Gartner.
PC shipments in the Asia Pacific region are declining, especially in China where unit shipments have declined 5.7% year over year. The APAC decline comes as the global market declined for the 14th consecutive quarter dating back to the second quarter of 2012.
Enterprise cloud computing company Nutanix is claiming a record number of new customers on the back of second quarter fiscal year 2018 results showing a 44% increase in revenue to US$286.7 million.
