Global professional services firm Accenture has opened an innovation hub in Canberra designed to provide defence and national security organisations in Australia and New Zealand with access to the latest technology innovations and digital solutions.
A report by lobby group the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, on sponsored overseas trips made by Australian federal politicians to a number of countries, says that Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei sponsored 12 trips for politicians to visit its headquarters in Shenzhen, making it the biggest corporate sponsor of such trips.
