Security software company, PC Tools, says it has identified a new way cyber criminals are trying to prey on the fans of the Twilight series with anticipation of the upcoming “New Moon” movie, which comes out tomorrow, reaching a fever pitch.

Australia, NZ amongst worst for online brand attacks

Australia continues to rank as one of the top ten countries worldwide to suffer online brand attacks, and while Colombia and France have dropped off the chart completely, New Zealand and Brazil have entered the list for the first time, according to a new report on worldwide fraud released today.

Nokia joins industry heavies to fight security threats

Nokia has joined founding members Cisco, IBM, Intel, Juniper Networks and Microsoft as a founding member of the 15 month old Industry Consortium for Advancement of Security on the Internet (ICASI).
