Deadly mutated breast cancer gene discovered

Mutations in the metadherin (MTDH) gene have been found to increase the risk of the various forms of breast cancer, according to U.S. researchers from Princeton University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Lung cancer smokes breast cancer in Australian women

The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare reports that lung cancer, for the first time, will kill more Australian women than breast cancer because women are smoking more than men.
