Mobile-cancer debate revived by study: report

A British newspaper has revived the debate over mobile phones and cancer by reporting that an investigation overseen by the World Health Organisation found that heavy users may have a higher risk of developing tumours later in life.

A U.S. study finds that xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus (XMLV), which has been associated with the occurrence of prostate cancer, could be linked to chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). If proven true, the research could eventually lead to an effective diagnosis and treatment of the debilitating disease.

Got a longer life? CDC says Yes!

According to a September 12, 2007 news release from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the average U.S. life expectancy has increased to 77.9 years.
