Chinese vendor Huawei Technologies has launched a new ICT platform at the recently opened Huawei Raiders Training Centre – home of National Rugby League (NRL) club, the Canberra Raiders.
ANALYSIS In August 2018, Huawei was told that it was not going to be able to bid for something which could prove to be its biggest source of revenue in Australia: 5G contracts.
Huawei Australia has assured the Canberra Raiders that it will not be deterred from its sponsorship of the club, despite the continuing uncertainty caused by suspension of the 2020 National Rugby League season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
