DIY ticketing for Melbourne Motor Show

Outsourcing has almost become a religion in some quarters, but sometimes it's better to do a job in-house even if it's not a core activity.

In the quest to have a product offering different from everyone else’s, GPS maker Tom Tom have unveiled v2 of their ‘HOME’ software, letting users ‘download, upload and share’ a wealth of free navigation content, while also giving users (paid) new voices to guide them, including John Cleese, the ‘Queen’, Ozzy Osbourne and many more.

007's underwater car is no longer fiction!

If you’ve ever wished you could drive your car underwater like James Bond in ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’, Swiss company Rinspeed have launched the sQuba, letting drivers do just that – but at a cost of US $1.5 million it’ll be a while before most consumers take to the water – in their cars!
