Want to buy the car that only the super-rich of the 1910 and 1920s
could afford? It’s the Detroit Electric, a car that should have seen
the world choose electricity over petrol decades ago, but for the fact
oil and petrol became so cheap as to give electric cars a shock that
they’re only recovering from now.
Scientists, engineers, and architects at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge) are working on the "City Car," a rechargeable, two-passenger vehicle that promotes socially responsible transportation in heavily populated and pollution congested urban centers.
Massive changes are afoot at Pioneer, affecting every facet of their
business, including plasma TVs, audio, car audio and in-car
entertainment and Blu-ray, as Pioneer continues working with Sharp
Corporation on the business alliance they formed last year.
