After years of gunning for Microsoft, the European Commission has launched proceedings against Google to investigate whether its conduct relating to Android and smartphones and tablets services has breached EU antitrust rules.
The US Federal Trade Commission "accidentally" gave a 2012 US anti-trust report on Google to The Wall Street Journal. The content was not good and concluded that Google's "conduct has resulted — and will result — in real harm to consumers and to innovation in the online search and advertising markets".
