South Australia-based Myriota, a connectivity provider for nanosatellite Internet of Things devices, undertaken a $28 million series B funding round led by industry superannuation fund Hostplus and Main Sequence Ventures, the company has announced.
Nanosatellite IoT connectivity firm Myriota has appointed experienced sales executive Barbara Swanson as its chief revenue officer with a view to increasing its income.
Adelaide-based satellite communications firm Myriota will invest $1.36 million of its own money plus a matching grant from the South Australian Government to set up an Internet of Things laboratory, creating more than 50 new jobs in IT and advanced manufacturing.
