US communications provider CenturyLink says it has strengthened its content delivery network (CDN) service capabilities in 11 cities across Asia Pacific (APAC) to cater to growing demands from global broadcasters, over the top (OTT) video streaming platforms and gaming companies.
The newly re-elected president of Australia’s Telecommunications Association (TelSoc), Reg Coutts, says Australia has fallen “somewhat behind” its APAC neighbours in recent years in developing the technologies that will be required to flourish in the 21st century.
