Nokia and Singapore-based communications solutions operator StarHub have teamed up again to deploy a new cloud-native 5G core network to manage 5G standalone (SA) bandwidth demand that has been projected to grow rapidly.
Australia’s 3.5GHz band spectrum auction, slated for this October, has heated up the market for 5G rollouts. Telcos, mobile operators, network equipment vendors, and IoT providers are watching this space for commercial opportunities and new revenue models.
