YouTube Sessions to kick off with Jessica Mauboy

By

The first YouTube Session will feature Australian singer Jessica Mauboy.

YouTube Sessions - which Google describes as "an assortment of new music videos, premieres, exclusives, and of course a jam session or two with the artists you love and a few up and coming sensations" - will kick off this month with a performance by Jessica Mauboy.

She will perform songs from the Go Get Em Girls album, and answer presubmitted questions. Visitors to the YouTube Sessions page can submit their own questions and vote on those proposed by others.

The video of Ms Mauboy's single Running Back has already been viewed more than 2 million times on YouTube.

The date of the Jessica Mauboy session has yet to be disclosed, and there are no clues about other artists that may participate in the YouTube Sessions program.
