Video: Horizon Zero Dawn: New trailer and release date slippage

By

One of the revelations from last year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) was the PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn. Who doesn’t like a good mechanical dinosaur hunt?

This new video gives more insight into the lead character Aloy and her growth in a hostile and mysterious environment where mankind is in decline and electro-mechanical dino-beasts stop the land like some kind of Transformers and Jurassic Park mash-up.

Unfortunately, the game has slipped to a release date in Australia of 1 March 2017. This definitely means that if Sony finally announce the presence of the upgraded PS4 model (the Neo) this title will be part of the showcased presentation improvements possible on grunty PlayStation hardware.

In the meantime enjoy and dissect the new trailer.

As a fan of Ubisoft’s recent FarCry Primal, I for one am looking forward to some primitive style hunting of big robo-dinosaurs in a beautiful overgrown city landscape.
