PS3 shot at Bravia TV to kick start give-away

Sony is ready to relaunch the free PS3 with a BRAVIA LCD TV promotion again.  Giving away 25,000 PlayStation 3’s with select BRAVIA’s.  When Sony says it is doing a relaunch, it means a relaunch with video footage of a PS3 being hurled into an innocent LCD TV at 22 metres per second.

It was pretty much successful last year, and with the new impetus of the new PS3 Slim Sony is ready to make new TV purchasers happy by adding a 120GB PlayStation 3 to their Christmas stocking.

Beginning at 12:01 am on Thursday 22nd October the 25,000 PS3 Slim countdown begins.

“Entering the Christmas period after a year of financial pressure, now more than ever consumers are looking for quality purchases that deliver value for money. With a BRAVIA LCD TV, not only are you buying unparalleled manufacturing quality, but you also now have the confidence of knowing your investment is supported by our extended three year warranty promotion. Our BRAVIA LCD TV, PS3 and extended warranty combination is undoubtedly the best offer we have ever had in the market,” said Toby Barbour, Deputy General Manager of Consumer Products Marketing at Sony Australia.
