Nintendo connects with Myer stores

By
Nintendo has teamed up with Myer to open a gaming area dedicated to Mario and his mates on Wii and DS.  The Nintendo Connection opens tomorrow at the main CBD Sydney retail outlet.  It is a chance for people to waggle before they wallet.

The Nintendo Experience opened as a dedicated and dazzlingly white space for playing Wii and DS at EB Games in Melbourne last December.   Now Nintendo is branching out with the same concept, but into a more traditional retail outlet.

Nintendo has the following information:  The Nintendo Connection arrives at Myer Sydney City, Level 6, on Thursday, October 15 at Midday. Be the first to experience this dedicated Nintendo Gaming Area, the first of its kind in Myer.

Come along to play your favourite Nintendo games and the latest releases for Wii and Nintendo DS. The Nintendo Connection has something for everyone, you don't need to know the rules, just pick up and play! Be on the lookout for your favourite Nintendo characters, you never know who will make an appearance.

Make sure you arrive early as the first 50 people to enter the area will receive a gift bag including a standalone Wii Fit Plus (Wii Balance Board not included), which is also released that day. There will also be other great prizes up for grabs, so make sure you come along!

Nintendo has no plans at this stage to further expand the concept to other areas of Australia
