Google doodle marks Pac-Man birthday

By

Google's celebrating Pac-Man's 30th birthday with a playable Pac-Man game on its home page.

May 21 is Pac-Man's birthday, and Google's helping him celebrate the 3-0 with a playable version of the game at www.google.com.

Produced by Marcin Wichary, senior user experince designer and developer, and Google doodler Ryan Germick, the game will be available until May 22 (US time).

Click the Insert Coin button, and start bashing those arrow keys. For some two-player fun, click Insert coin a second time, and control Ms Pac-Man with the WASD keys.

Wichary says the Google doodle version of Pac-Mac even includes the bugs in the original game.
