Peripherals maker Epson has released what it claims is the lightest and smallest 3LCD projector, the EB-L30000UNL, which it says is also the industry's first 30,000 lumens projector with 4K enhancement technology.
In a statement, Epson Australia said the device was powered by its proprietary light source for outstanding image quality, adding that it was suited for use in environments with fixed installations like big auditoriums, museums, theatres and places of worship.
The company said the EB-L30000UNL would be able to function without maintenance for about 20,000 hours with its original laser light source structure and advanced electrostatic filter.
The projector has a triple layer dust-proof structure housing a sealed optical engine for durability and resistance, reducing airflow and the risk of dust and smoke intrusion.
No price has been given for the new projector which will be available for sale from October from authorised partners and resellers.
