Black Ops 2 catches up on PC and PS3

By

The previously Xbox 360-exclusive personalisation packs for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 will at long last arrive on PC and PS3 on April 12.

The DLC updates are merely cosmetic, but allow users to cover their guns and costumes in decals such as  kawaii, graffiti and company logos.

The Activision blog One of Swords also announced the Nuketown 2025 map will soon become a free download from next month as well.

It will also  be added into the standard multiplayer map rotation “eventually”.

Meanwhile rumours are still swirling about the next entry in the series, and what form it will take.

Before being switched to become the co-developers of Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer Games were already working on a Call of Duty game, and it's unknown whether this game is still being worked on and if it will see a release.

A Call of Duty massively multiplayer online game is also rumored to be in development.

Black Ops II grossed $US 1 billion in the first 15 days of availability, beating Modern Warfare 3's record of the first 16 days.
