Quantify says CASwell, a subsidiary of Foxconn Technology Group which manufactures Apple’s iPhone and has a market capitalisation of US$20 billion — and is listed on the Taiwanese Stock Exchange — is well positioned to undertake volume manufacture for the company.
Describing Quantify as a pioneer of truly intelligent buildings technology, having created simple to install, affordable Internet of Things devices that replace standard light switches and power outlets, chief executive Brett Savill said the appointment by CASwell was of huge significance to Quantify.
"CASwell provides the highest quality, volume production capacity for sales globally," he said.
Savill said that a key part of the company’s commercialisation strategy had been to source a manufacturing partner that could scale as demand for Quantify Technology’s products grew both in Australia and internationally.
“CASwell is uniquely positioned to accelerate our growth strategy and we look forward to working in partnership with CASwell, with the initial production run of our products commencing immediately, with first production expected to be delivered to Australia in July 2019," said Savill..
"The first purchase order has been placed and the products will be used to fulfil orders with current distributors in Australia.”
