Oakton will provide OpenText architecture and consulting services to its enterprise and government clients, whether they are planning to introduce OpenText software or expand its use.
Oakton is already a partner of SAP and Microsoft.
"This is an important partnership that will provide considerable benefit and opportunity to OpenText's large commercial and public sector customers," said Oakton CEO Neil Wilson.
"Oakton is aligned with OpenText's growth initiatives and we expect to grow OpenText's customer base in vertical industries, by supporting existing customers as well as working with new customers.”
"Oakton's extensive experience and reputation for delivering business-focused IT outcomes, along with its knowledge of the OpenText enterprise information management suite, means Oakton will provide a compelling value proposition in the market."
He added "I have no doubt Oakton will be a real asset to the OpenText partner ecosystem and I'm really looking forward to working closely with them."
