Arrow Electronics shoots straight with Tenable

By

Tenable has signed its first Australian distribution agreement with Arrow ECS (Enterprise Computing Solutions) ANZ.

Through Tenable’s partner programme, Arrow ECS ANZ will offer Tenable solutions to their sales partners, making it easier for mid-market and enterprise resellers to deliver comprehensive vulnerability management and the industry’s only true continuous monitoring solutions to customers.

The agreement is Tenable’s first direct distribution agreement in Australia – part of the company’s strategy to expand its global footprint to meet the growing demand for security technology that addresses the widespread adoption of cloud, BYOD, containers, Internet of Things and other emerging trends in enterprise technology.

Gary Jackson, vice-president of Asia Pacific, Tenable Network Security, said, “Australia and New Zealand account for a large part of our annual revenue in APAC, so expanding our channel focus with Arrow to reach more mid-market and enterprise customers will help us accelerate growth in a very important strategic market for the rest of this year and into 2017.”

Arrow Electronics is a US-based Fortune 500 company founded in 1935 best known for distribution of electronic components. Its has diversified into enterprise computing solutions (ECS end-to-end IT infrastructure and solutions via a reseller network), intelligent systems, and asset value recovery (reverse supply chain and IT end-of-life asset disposition).

Arrow ECS is known for its Advanced Solutions Lab, an expert team of pre-sales engineers so its solutions providers can design, test, build and demo solutions for their customers. It is also a certified training provider for selected vendors.

Tenable has become well-known for its advanced threat protection via visibility and critical context via its Nessus vulnerability scanner, Security Centre, and Continuous View products.
