Tibco brings Live Apps onshore

By

Integration and analytics provider Tibco now offers its recently launched Tibco Cloud Live Apps along with Tibco Cloud Integration from AWS Sydney.

Making Tibco Cloud Live Apps along with Tibco Cloud Integration available from an Australian data centre solves two issues for local users.

Onshore operation reduces latency and avoids data sovereignty issues.

"Business users are faced with increasing market competition and need to have new apps to support them up and running as quickly as possible," said Tibco APJ chief technology officer Robert Merlicek.

"Unfortunately, current app development methods require IT teams with a complex set of technical skills, which is causing delays and user frustration. Live Apps addresses these issues with an overall seamless experience for citizen developers."

Tibco says Live Apps provides users with a simple web-based interface and pre-built connectors to link apps with cloud or on-premises applications to unlock data and bring it to life in a matter of minutes.

"Tibco is committed to the provision of cloud-based architecture in Australia and today's announcement is a significant step in making this commitment a reality," added Merlicek.

"We look forward to working with our Australian clients to help them accelerate digital transformation and innovate with smart apps."
