ManageEngine's cloud-based performance monitoring system Site24x7 now offers AI-powered monitoring of Microsoft Azure services, along with chatbot integration with Microsoft Teams.

Growing hybrid cloud adoption makes system monitoring more challenging, as it is equally important to keep tabs on cloud infrastructure and on-premises systems.

Site24x7 has extended its reach by adding out-of-the-box support for more than 100 Azure products including virtual machines, databases, analytics and security. Any future Azure products will also be supported, ManageEngine APAC vice-president Gibu Mathew (pictured) told iTWire.

"Slow is the new down," Mathew said, so Site24x7 provides a single console giving visibility of the end-user experience, servers, cloud systems, the network, application performance management (down to individual lines of code in software written in Java, Ruby on Rails, .Net, node.js and others), and log management.

"We've taken a holistic approach to monitoring," he said, not simply from a technical perspective but from a user's point of view.

Along with support for Azure (in addition to existing support for AWS, VMware, Hyper-V and other environments), Site24x7 now includes integration with Microsoft Teams, said to be the fastest growing business product in Microsoft's history.

The Site24x7 chatbot for Microsoft Teams provides DevOps staff and application owners with the health status of critical applications in their familiar workplace chat room, thus improving productivity.

Site 24x7 Microsoft Teams integration

"With digital transformation picking pace, DevOps teams are happy embracing public cloud for new workloads, but it comes with a few inevitable challenges such as getting end-to-end visibility, performance degradation and managing user experience, of business critical applications," said Site24x7 product manager Srinivasa Raghavan.

Microsoft Teams general manager Bhrighu Sareen said, "Participating in ChatOps where developers, application teams and IT operations can collaborate in a single chat room is powerful for quick problem identification. Site24x7's AI driven monitoring capability makes sure that users would have to jump into the conversation just when it is most needed, and focus on their core work at other times."

Site24x7 Azure monitoring and Microsoft Teams integration is available immediately, starting at US$9 a month for up to 10 servers. For 40 servers it is US$35 a month, or US$89 for 100 servers. After that, each additional 50 servers cost another US$50. A 30-day free trial is available.
