New features of MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform include the AI-based Flow Designer to easily create integrations and automate business processes, new accelerators that provide pre-built integration templates incorporating best practices, MuleSoft Accelerator for Service Cloud for integrating with ServiceNow and Jira with Service Cloud, MuleSoft Accelerator for Commerce Cloud for integrating inventory and catalog data with Commerce Cloud, and Anypoint API Community Manager to help cultivate digital ecosystems.
MuleSoft will work with Accenture, Deloitte and other players to train 100,000 people in the required skills.
Accenture chief software engineer Adam Burden said "Unlocking the trapped value of data in the enterprise is a key priority for our clients and MuleSoft's low-code approach will help enable 'citizen integrators' to accelerate this journey."
The company is committed to training 5,000 employees.
MuleSoft CEO Simon Parmett said "By understanding the power of APIs and integration, anyone can accelerate digital transformation from wherever they sit within their company and dramatically increase the clockspeed of innovation.
"Integration is the missing link to digital transformation and every member of an organization must understand how API-led connectivity can power connected customer experiences. By delivering best-in-class products and skilling up the workforce of the future, MuleSoft is uniquely positioned to propel companies forward in this digital age."
In related news, MuleSoft announced plans to make Anypoint Runtime Fabric available on Google Cloud in 2020, and to provide by the end of this year a BigQuery connector in Anypoint Exchange that will help combine datasets from sources such as Salesforce and Google Analytics.
"Data is the most valuable resource that organizations have today," said Google Cloud corporate vice president Kevin Ichhpurani.
"These new offerings from MuleSoft mean customers can make better decisions with their data by breaking down silos and by leveraging Google Cloud's core competencies in areas like AI, ML and cloud analytics."
