Bulletproof offers managed AWS service

Hosting provider Bulletproof has announced a fully managed version of Amazon Web Services.

While AWS has a lot going for it - including scalability, affordability, PCI DSS compliance and ISO 27001 certification - it can require more care and feeding than some potential customers are happy with.

So Bulletproof is wrapping its enterprise-grade management around AWS to to support mission critical applications and websites running on AWS in different parts of the world.

The new service is in addition to Bulletproof's existing public and private managed cloud services.

"[This] opens the door to fully managed AWS-powered services or managed services for AWS in a hybrid environment," said Bulletproof COO Lorenzo Modesto.

The service is offered on a month-by-month basis, and with standard or enterprise service (the latter including round-the-clock proactive application and database management support.

Bulletproof is an advanced consulting partner member of the AWS Partner Network, and has a fibre connection between its San Jose data centre to enable the use of AWS Direct Connect services.
