Mobile Mentor gets close and personal with iProximity

Enterprise mobility specialist Mobile Mentor will incorporate iProximity's beacons into its solutions portfolio under a new partnership arrangement between the companies.

Mobile Mentor offers a range of enterprise mobility solutions based on products from well-known vendors including Airwatch, BlinkMobile, BlackBerry and Citrix.

The company has now partnered with iProximity to use that company's beacon products allowing for highly localised marketing and information services.

iProximity's platform covers QR codes and NFC tags and TapBoards as well as Bluetooth-based beacons.

"We believe beacon technology will provide really useful context to the mobile experience and when you combine context with content, the user experience gets much richer," said Mobile Mentor CEO Denis O'Shea.
