Parallels rewards RAS customers' and partners' participation

Virtualisation vendor Parallels is encouraging its customers and partners to spread the word about Remote Application Server.

Parallels RAS 17 was released last month, and the company is keen to get it in front of more new customers.

To that end, Parallels is tempting its customers and partners with Visa gift cards worth up to $1000.

Partners qualify for a $1000 gift card by undertaking Parallels' free training and certification process, running five proofs of concepts with prospective customers, and closing five deals each with at least 15 RAS seats.

Customers can get a $500 gift card by running a RAS proof of concept, being the subject of a case study, and referring a potential customer to do a proof of concept. with a Parallels partner. A smaller reward will be paid to customers who can only complete two of the three activities.

Both promotions run until 30 November.

In related news, Parallels has revealed that RAS 17.1, scheduled for release in October 2019, will include some significant new features.

These include support for multi-tenancy, SAML single sign-on, Azure as a VDI provider, drag-and-drop data transfer between server and client, and the use of SQL Server 2017 and 2019 for reporting.
