Infor turns analytics focus on healthcare

Infor turns analytics focus on healthcare Gnangarra (see below)

Infor Connected Analytics aims to provide healthcare organisations with the information needed to improve operational efficiency.

Infor Connected Analytics connects data from multiple Infor CloudSuite Healthcare applications and uses the company's Birst analytics platform and Cloverleaf technologies to turn clinical and business data into KPIs, dashboards and predictive analytics.

The first release of Infor Connected Analytics integrates healthcare information from Human Capital Management and Infor CloudSuite Financials and Supply Management.

The company plans to add other components of Infor CloudSuite Healthcare – such as Workforce Management Healthcare, Enterprise Asset Management, and Staffing Optimizer Healthcare – to future releases.

According to company officials, Infor Connected Analytics can answer questions such as 'What is the breakdown of revenue and cost by service line?', 'What is the true cost of each episode of care?', and 'What is the best way to rationalise services across locations?'

"Today's healthcare industry requires organisations to collect, consolidate, model and analyse vast amounts of data, from multiple applications and sources, to maintain a competitive edge," said Infor senior vice president of healthcare software development Mark Weber.

"C-level executives in healthcare provider organisations need a consolidated view of their enterprises, across clinical operations and financial management, to get the insights necessary for timely, strategic decisions."

Infor Connected Analytics is initially available to selected customers, and is expected to move into general availability in January 2020.
