Atlassian updates Portfolio for JIRA

By

Atlassian's Portfolio for JIRA 2.0 features completely redesigned integration with JIRA.

The new version of Atlassian's agile portfolio management tool for JIRA provides seamless integration between Portfolio for JIRA and JIRA itself.

This means the portfolio is always kept up-to-date with the latest information in JIRA.

"Every change that happens in JIRA will get automatically updated in Portfolio," according to Atlassian.

New features in Portfolio for JIRA 2.0 related to this capability include keeping sprints in Portfolio in sync with the agile boards, automatically scheduling issues to the JIRA issue assignees, and setting dependencies in Portfolio to match issue link types set up in JIRA.

Conversely, it is now possible to experiment in a Portfolio sandbox without pushing the corresponding changes to JIRA until users are ready to commit to the new plan.
