Home Business Software NetSuite in use by every type of company possible

NetSuite, the rapidly-growing global cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, has commenced its SuiteWorld 2016 conference with the theme, "Be bold".

NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson began the keynote presentations thanking NetSuite's partners. "Every time we sell a new company NetSuite at least 70% of the time a partner product goes with it ... You can't estimate the power of the partnership we've built on top of the NetSuite platform," he  said.

Nelson said NetSuite had enjoyed explosive growth, with 10,000 companies using the product in 2010; this had grown to more than 30,000 customers in 2015. NetSuite is the "most widely used business system in the world in the cloud," he said.

Nelson looked to the 1540 Standard Industry Classification (SIC) codes and mapped customers to codes, coming to the realisation they had at least one customer for every classification. This even included one customer, Jersey Jack Pinball, under "coin-operated amusement devices".

"Essentially every industry in the SIC listing is using NetSuite," he said, "Every type of company on the planet is using NetSuite."
