An accidental preview of Windows 8

Tentatively due for release in late 2012, details of Windows 8 have been splashed all over the Internet.  Never mind the NDA!

According to a number of sources a Power Point slide deck found its way onto the Internet and was accidentally discovered.

Every slide in the presentation has a watermark "Microsoft Confidential - released to under NDA."

iTWire won't be analysing the contents of the presentations (totalling over 380 slides) neither will we be hosting the materials for download, however it is interesting that the person releasing the materials neglected to remove the name of the holder of the material from just one of the slides (accident?) - we won't be identifying who that person is nor the slide upon which it appears.  That's for the bemused reader to discover.

According to many of the reports, Microsoft has clearly identified Apple as not so much a competitor as a beacon toward which they should aim.  Finally, they get it!

Much of the material, which seems authentic, identifies the major problem-points experienced by users around the world - hopefully the final product achieves all it sets out to achieve.
