Neto future-proofs eCommerce with Cloudflare

Australian retail and wholesale management platform, Neto, will bundle Cloudflare into its standard SaaS solution at no additional cost.

Today Neto announced its hosted eCommerce, point of sale (POS), inventory and fulfilment platform will include Cloudflare in its standard SaaS offerings at no additional cost to customers.

Cloudflare benefits customer’s eCommerce stores by working between the store and the public Internet. It acts as a reverse proxy for websites, handling policy management and traffic routing. Cloudflare states it is infinitely scalable and therefore enables international growth and geographic expansion plans for Neto’s customers.

“While most of our customers have started out selling nationally or to a smaller geographic footprint, today we’re seeing many of these inspiring retail entrepreneurs expand internationally and transform into truly global businesses,” said, Ryan Murtagh, chief executive and founder of Neto.

One example of such growth is Bicycles Online. This Australian Neto customer is expanding to new markets, and Cloudflare’s content delivery network, DDoS mitigation and Internet security services will deliver benefits to it, as well as other Neto customers.

“Bicycles Online is expanding into Asia where their opportunity for growth, particularly compared to a market the size of Australia, will be unprecedented. Cloudflare, as an ‘always-on’ online service, will essentially super-charge the Internet for Bicycles Online and, importantly, deliver an optimised experience for its customers — and potential customers — wherever in the world they may be,” said Murtagh.

Neto customers can expect to see faster loading times for customers worldwide, and enhanced security for their stores.

Recently, Neto migrated to Amazon’s AWS for hosting, and the company says both that migration and its Cloudflare bundling are solid examples of its ongoing commitment to scale with its merchants, building a platform that supports customer’s global growth trajectories.

“Our partnership with Cloudflare is further commitment to our promise to deliver a world-class platform. I myself started as an online retailer and understand the journey our customers are on. We’re walking the path together, but Neto always intends to stay one step ahead in terms of the functionality and integration required in a complete solution for eCommerce, POS, inventory and fulfilment,” said Murtagh.
