Netgear provides on-site warranty

By

Netgear is beefing up warranty coverage on certain products with the addition of an on-site hardware replacement service.

Building on the existing lifetime warranty on its ProSafe network products, Netgear is now offering next business day on-site hardware replacement for the first three years of the warranty period of ProSafe managed switches and wireless controllers, and rackmount ReadyNAS storage products.

"Mid-size enterprise IT customers are increasingly seeking reliable, affordable and simple solutions to improve productivity without forgoing additional budget," said Ryan Parker, managing director, Netgear Australia and New Zealand.

"As a company which prides itself on delivering smart IT solutions to our customers, NETGEAR's next business day on-site hardware replacement service is raising the bar even higher and giving Australian businesses the confidence to focus on what is important to them - their business," he added.

The new service only applies to products purchased after July 1, 2011, and coverage is limited to Australian capital cities and major regional centres.
