With Pega’s Rapid Decisioning Suite, Accenture wants to help its clients increase products sold per customer and improve customer retention, more quickly, with the new suite unveiled today at the annual Pegaworld conference in Las Vegas.
We are told that the suite "provides a prebuilt set of rules and templates, reference architectures, and robust planning and delivery tools that help define and manage business cases while mitigating customer related risks".
Unique features and industry-specific components such as operating and governance models, project plans and offer catalogs "help address critical business issues that many companies face, in particular in the financial services, communications and high tech sectors".
David Steuer, managing director, cloud first applications at Accenture, said: “One of the key value drivers in most technology solutions is time to market, which makes rapid adoption of decisioning capabilities a necessity since a direct line can be drawn between lost revenue and a delayed launch.
“Our new decisioning suite provides a construct that can help our clients to launch solutions into production faster than ever before and reap the benefits of their innovations quicker.”
Accenture says "the decisioning suite has been used on more than a dozen client implementations, and was also recently leveraged by Accenture Interactive to develop an interactive banking accelerator that helps banks improve their customers’ digital journeys".
Among the clients using the capabilities is "Sprint, the communications services company, that is working with Accenture on one of the fastest-ever Pega Customer Decision Hub with Next-Best-Action (NBA) implementations — three months to the first release — that has proven itself for its ability to retain and sell to customers above and beyond legacy systems".
Mike Nevels, director of CRM at Sprint said: “Accenture’s decisioning suite was instrumental in helping us rapidly implement Next-Best-Action and transition to a new business operating model.”
We are told that "the Pega Customer Decision Hub uses real-time decisioning to intelligently drive the next best action for each customer. It adapts with self-learning models to have suggested actions reflect the customer’s changing preferences. The unified platform helps organisations to drive customer engagement channels from a single unified environment".
