Nuix and FRONTEO USA enter into eDiscovery partnership

By

Australian company Nuix made quite a splash in the Panama papers scandal, enabling extremely accurate machine analysis of 11.5 million documents in a fraction of the time.

While Nuix has always operated globally, it has now partnered with FRONTEO USA, (formerly UBIC North America, Evolve Discovery, and Techlaw Solutions) a leading provider of international litigation support and big-data analysis services.

FRONTEO will use Nuix to support high-end eDiscovery and digital evidence processing, enhancing its ability to handle increasingly larger datasets and support the growing processing demands from its clients.

Eddie Sheehy, chief executive of Nuix, said, “The main contributing factor to enable this partnership was literally our speed and scalability. The Nuix processing engine gives our partners and customers the ability to work through massive amounts of data at speed and scale to produce accurate, timely results. We couldn’t be more excited to have FRONTEO as a partner and look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

In addition to speed and scalability, Nuix compatibility with multi-language support in FRONTEO products, particularly Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) character sets, was a deciding factor in the selection of Nuix.

Andy Jimenez, chief executive of FRONTEO USA, said, “The flexibility to customise the Nuix tool to support our infrastructure, which is designed for large-scale processing across multiple servers, offers significant benefit to our legal and litigation to support clients. The Nuix processing environment contains many advantages to streamline the handling of native files, improve speed, and widen the scope of file types that can be accommodated.”

David Wilner, chief operating officer of FRONTEO USA, said, “We’ve already had examples of clients with sizeable data-processing needs come to us with urgent requests that would have normally taken us a week to process.  Now, we can handle these requests on the same day.”

Active Vs. Passive DWDM Solutions

An active approach to your growing optical transport network & connectivity needs.

Building dark fibre network infrastructure using WDM technology used to be considered a complex challenge that only carriers have the means to implement.

This has led many enterprises to build passive networks, which are inferior in quality and ultimately limit their future growth.

Why are passive solutions considered inferior? And what makes active solutions great?

Read more about these two solutions, and how PacketLight fits into all this.
