Xerocon becomes a regional event

By

Xerocon Brisbane will be the cloud accounting provider's first Asia-Pacific regional event.

Previous XeroCons have been aimed at the Australia and New Zealand market, but XeroCon Brisbane will also attract accountants, bookkeepers and Xero partners from Singapore and other parts of the Asia Pacific region.

Xero recently opened a regional office in Singapore.

"Since we first launched our Xerocon events in 2009, Xero has grown from 12,000 paying customers to more than 600,000 around the world," said Xero chief marketing and business officer Andy Lark.

"Xero has become a truly global company and we want our biggest annual conference to reflect the accountants, bookkeepers and fantastic partners we work with around the region.

"We've listened to our customers and partners who asked for an event which, like their business, is bigger than one country alone. This is a fantastic opportunity to include everyone across Asia-Pacific and make it our biggest Xerocon yet."

Early bird registrants are offered 20% discount on tickets until June 30, for a net cost of $760.

To offset the cost of flying across the Tasman and encourage New Zealand practices to attend, Xero is offering them 350 NZ$200 travel vouchers (one per practice) via its co-op marketing process.

Registrations are accepted here.
