Partnership to ensure small to medium businesses get rounded support in time of need

STRATEGIC ALLIANCE ANNOUNCEMENT: With the COVID-19 pandemic hitting small to medium businesses hard, and no immediate end in sight, obtaining the right support and getting timely information may be critical for ongoing survival. That’s why Intuit QuickBooks Australia and Business Australia have entered into a long-term partnership, to provide a range of vital resources to help businesses get through these uncertain times and beyond.

“At a time when advice and support is more important than ever, joining forces with Business Australia to share our combined deep knowledge, expertise and resources with small to medium businesses across the country will be hugely beneficial to those trying to navigate the unprecedented challenges thrust upon them by the pandemic,” says Natira Drayton, Vice President & Country Manager, Intuit QuickBooks Australia

What this means for small to medium businesses

The new partnership will initially see collaboration across content and expert partner webinars, providing Intuit QuickBooks customers and Business Australia members with access to a wide range of topics and resources, to help their business stay afloat during these pressing times.

With seven in 10 small to medium businesses saying they don’t get their fair share of attention or resources compared to big business, the partnership will look to provide the required resources to those that need it. Intuit Quickbooks customers will be offered personalised support from Business Australia in areas that data shows they struggle with the most.

“The partnership comes at a time when businesses need support the most. This has been a year of great change, and the flow-on effects are going to be felt for some time. We’re here to provide support, guidance and resources to businesses and help them navigate through the ongoing changes they’ll face, and that’s where Intuit QuickBooks can step in and play a critical role”, believes Richard Spencer, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Business Australia.

In addition, bespoke member offers will be developed to provide additional benefits to both QuickBooks customers and Business Australia members.

“This is just the beginning of our journey with Business Australia as we unite to back Aussie businesses all the way,” added Drayton.

Active Vs. Passive DWDM Solutions

An active approach to your growing optical transport network & connectivity needs.

Building dark fibre network infrastructure using WDM technology used to be considered a complex challenge that only carriers have the means to implement.

This has led many enterprises to build passive networks, which are inferior in quality and ultimately limit their future growth.

Why are passive solutions considered inferior? And what makes active solutions great?

Read more about these two solutions, and how PacketLight fits into all this.
