Australia-based video sharing operator Kondoot has released a new version of its mobile app to provide a full range of live and recorded video services.

The new Kondoot app for iPhone and iPad replaces the company's previous Mobile Broadcaster app. A Kondoot account is required.

Intended for personal or business use, the service and app handle the publication and playback of live or recorded videos.

Live chat is included, along with notifications, events, friends, and account and profile information.

The platform supports paid events, with Kondoot taking a 20% commission on 'ticket' sales.

An Android version of the app is scheduled for release in the near future.

"We're thrilled to deliver the brand new app to our user base", said Kondoot co-founder and director Mark Cracknell.

"The app will provide our users with an enhanced ability to connect with each other anywhere, anytime – a philosophy at the core of who we are and what we do".

Kondoot has users in 200 countries, company officials claimed.
