Nokia's first Windows Phone smartphone, the Lumia 800, is scheduled to go on sale in Australia in March. The three carriers and all major retailers will be offering the Nokia Lumia 800.

"Nokia Lumia will change the way people think about Nokia," said Nokia Australia managing director Chris Carr, "It signifies a new beginning for the company, bringing together the very best of Nokia's handset design and services with the latest Windows Phone software."
Features of the Nokia Lumia 800 include a 3.7in (800x400) AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with curved glass, a single-core 1.4GHz processor, 16GB of storage, an 8MP camera with 720p video at 30fps, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, and HSPDA connectivity for a maximum of 14.4Mbps downloads.
The $699 Lumia 800 runs the Mango release of Windows Phone, including Internet Explorer 9.
Nokia services provided with the phone include Nokia Drive turn-by-turn navigation, Mix Radio music streaming, and Gigfinder to locate nearby music events.
