LogMeIn Ignition at half price

Your IT - Mobility

The LogMeIn Ignition remote access app for iOS and Android is currently available at half price.

US companies often offer discounts - often substantial discounts - around the Thanksgiving holiday which is seen as the start of the Christmas shopping season. Those deals aren't always extended to customers in other parts of the world, but LogMeIn has halved the price of its LogMeIn Ignition remote access app for iPad, iPhone and Android from $31.99 to $15.99 "for a limited time".

The app allows remote access to an unlimited number of computers running Mac OS X or Windows and the free LogMeIn software.

A recently released update to the iOS version of LogMeIn Ignition added support for Google Docs, Dropbox and WebDAV servers. The My Cloud Bank feature extends existing file management capabilities to move files between the device, computers, and cloud services.

"The anywhere, anytime, any device benefits of remote access and cloud services have always been closely aligned. With the introduction of My Cloud Bank, we're delivering the best of both worlds, giving users intuitive, single point access to their files wherever they are stored," said Andrew Burton, LogMeIn's senior vice president, products.

"We see it as an important step in expanding the value of remote access and the cloud to all of a user's digital information '” a virtual insurance policy for always having important files at your fingertips," he added.
